Plane Spotting at HKG ... Part 7

Voila! I couldn't imagine I had spotted an Air Seychelles Airbus A330, an exotic bird from the islands of paradise...

The plane christened Vallée de Mai is indeed pretty...

Named after a nature park on the island of Praslin, this Airbus 330 will travel tonight, all he way to Abu Dhabi and then on to Victoria, in Seychelles...

Another Airbus A340 spotting, this time a Virgin Atlantic...

The Varga Girl - that's what this Virgin Atlantic jet is called...

The S7 Siberia Airlines begins its run on the runway, onward to Vladivostok...

A Garuda Airbus A330 taxis...

An Air New Zealand Boeing 777...

American Airlines Boeing 777...

The American livery is rather unimpressive...

Air India's Boeing 787 Dream)liner pushes back...

Today she's operating as AI317 to Delhi...

United's Boeing 777...

Air Canada's Boeing 777...

But I can't take my eyes off the pretty bird back from home...

Now back to the Air Canada Boeing 777...

I love her livery...

There she goes to Delhi...

An incoming Shanghai Airlines Boeing 737...

A Siam Air Boeing 737...

An Air China Boeing 737 is parked next to a United Boeing 737...

The Lufthansa Airbus A340. I hear they will replace this service with their newest Boeing 747-8i...

A very grainy shot of a Palau Pacific Airways Boeing 737, due to jet blast...
Indeed I had rich pickings of exotic birds today...

A Cathay Pacific Airbus A330...

The Swiss Airbus A340 pushes back for its journey back to Zurich...

As sun sets over HKG, my spotting orgy comes to an end. Hope to be back here soon for more spotting!

Plane Spotting at HKG ... Part 6

It's finally time to head back home, to Mumbai. And the opportunity comes, again, for some Plane Spotting, at my favorite airport, Chep Lap Kok!

A cloudy afternoon, but the pink plum flower liveried China Airlines tail can uplift the mood...

Pushback time for Garuda Indonesia Boeing 737...

As one Garuda jet is pushed back, another, a Garuda Airbus 330 approaches on its shortfinals...

Ohh, I love this "Welcome to Taiwan" livery...

Two sisters from Hong Kong - Airbus A320s from Hong Kong Airlines and Dragonair...

A Bangkok Airways Airbus A320...

A China Eastern Airbus A320...

A Dragonair Airbus A330 lands...

The Queen, a Cathay Pacific Boeing 747-400 rests before its flight...

There she is again, the very beautiful China Airlines Airbus A330...

A Shanghai Airlines Boeing 737...

"Welcome to Taiwan"

You can't miss Cathay here...

A Dragonair Airbus A330 taxis...

Increasingly becoming a rare breed, the Airbus A340 is still flown by Cathay...

The departures board...

Time for some lunch, to gather energy for still more spotting...

The massive Air France Airbus A380 from Paris CDG...

And a Swiss Airbus A340 basking in the sun...

Qantas Boeing 747-400 "Longreach"...

All Qantas Boeing 747-400s, in addition to their usual city names, all Boeing 747-400 aircraft carry the word "Longreach" as part of the livery. This signifies the long range of the aircraft... (i.e. they have a long range)

Its seems to be a A340 day, I realised as I saw this quadjet from Taiwan...

Pushback for Dragonair A330...

Hong Kong Airlines Airbus A330...

Korean Air Airbus 330...

Ohh! Seeing an exotic carrier from Vladivostok, the S7 Siberia Airlines Airbus A320, delighted me...

Readying to depart for Vladivostok...

A true Malaysian, Air Asia A320...

Spirit Airlines Airbus A320...
