Goodbye Siem Reap...

And the time has come to finally say goodbye to Indo-China, as we head back this morning to Incheon...

I wonder what "Angelic Break" means, that's what the sweatshirt of this Korean girl says, and indeed it was a great break for us...

The Siem Reap Airport is rather nice...

Motifs from Angkor line up the pathway to the immigration desks...

Pillars of the kind you see in the Angkor Wat...

Regional motifs...

The duty area here was quite nice, but we didn't intend to shop, we just had to rest, rest before we get back to the Incheon...
But in any case, we will always cherish the memories of this trip to Vietnam and Cambodia...

A Date With Khmer Apsaras...

The Apsara Dance Show was our final activity in Siem Reap before we headed to the airport to fly back home...

The dance show is hosted in the Koulen Restaurant in central Siem Reap...

And we were in a bit early, way before the crowds moved in - we had a hearty Khmer dinner before the shows began...

Local musicians...

And the Apsara performances begin...

The head from Bayon Temple...

And an Apsara emerges...

Traditional moves with lots of grace...

These moves are quite similar to some dance forms we have in India...

Obviously this region fell within the Indian shere of cultural influence and therefore the similarities have to be there...

The peasants' dance...

See him wooing the girl...

Charming her endlessly...

There it is - a flower for her...

I like that move...

And here comes the devil...

Another pretty Khmer damsel...
