Mesmerizing Vistas Of Palau -- Part II

And the magical aerial journey of Palau continues...

Stefan, our pilot, gave us stunning views of "strategic" locations by banking at the right time...

It was a wonderful morning, with some clouds on the horizon...

That's Neeti capturing the beauty of paradise...

What do I say? We were all spellbound...

These colours thrill me no end...

We flew at altitudes not exceeding 1000 feet, the safest for an open door...

The first glimpse of the Jellyfish Lake...

The Jellyfish Lake or the Ongeim'l Tketau, in Palauan, is located on Eil Malk island...

The Jellyfish Lake is connected to the ocean through fissures and tunnels in the limestone. However the isolation of the lake led to an evolution of jellyfish here - they have lost their stinging cells, making it safe for tourists to swim and snorkel here...

That's the Jellyfish Lake, we hope to visit tomorrow...

Heading towards the southern lagoons...

Palau is a protected ecosystem. Commercial fishing and shipping is not permitted. Tourism is strictly controlled to prevent an undue pressure on the environment...

And there's still some more to come...
