Piggin' Out, ...In Denarau!

Well, well, well... what do we say?
We came to Fiji for the sun and the sand, the balmy, emerald waters and the rolling Nausori Highlands.
But it seems that TD04F unfortunately had different plans for us. And quite literally we were marooned on Denarau, where we spent time roaming around the royal poinciana-lined boulevards, the shopping centre and the marina of Denarau.

Imagine our delight when we found a shop selling fresh coconut water, which we miss so much in Korea. And we pampered ourselves with a relaxing foot massage.

Chicken Express' chicken on wheels looks quite funny!

Pearls from the Pacific, don't even ask the prices...

Waiting for our lunch as we sip on our cocktails...

A meaningful message - "Worship the Creator Not The Creations"...

And as we wait for lunch, we have a chance encounter with a lady from Incheon who is here, with her parents, to spend a few days. She too was exasperated - this is not the Fiji she expected. It's cold and wet, and not warm and sunny...
Well, well, well, that's what I would call a force majeure event...

Mahi-mahi steaks on a bed of polenta...

Crispy grilled tuna steaks with tamarind sauce...
And we can say, this was a healthy way of piggin' out, piggin' out on the fruit of the sea...

As we peer into the rain, we can only say "Rain, rain, go away. Come again another day. Raj-Neeti want to play..."
