Délices Épicuriens de Fontainebleau...

The cycle trip around the Grand Canal and Rue Dénecourt left me famished. All these days, I had been eyeing a boulangerie on Rue Grande for the delights there.

I am really spoilt for choice...

Various viennoiseries...

The apple pie looked yummy, but I wanted something different...

And a thon-oeuf baguette (tuna-egg sandwich) for the savoury...

Sparkling water to go with my sandwich. I have developed quite a fancy for sparkling water in France...

There's my dessert, neatly packed...

My peach pie...

And a stiff and bitter double espresso to go with my dessert...

And I had a copy of the New York Times for company as I had my lunch...
The message was kind of profound "Countries have borders. Stories don't" - probably, that's why this blog exists...
