A Delightful Little Red Dot...



Back at my hotel from my day of exhausting meetings and a relaxing high tea at the Raffles, I had few hours to kill before my flight back to Incheon from Changi...


And just then there is a heavy torrential downpour, one of the many unpredictable wet Singaporean evenings!


And I peer into the skyline, awestruck on how this mosquito infested trading outpost became what it is today - a Little Red Spot which is the envy of many...


Perhaps, it has been the result of a single minded passion to see the betterment of its people, reining in corruption for the common man on the street and stability of policy...


And in no way one can discount the system of meritocracy that had been put in place for civil servants, with salaries that rival the private sector to ensure the best talent is attracted...






And some funny news in the Straits Times - pork futures in China!!!!!


And it's almost time to head to Changi!
