Frankly I have not really got it, why did Dubai need the Burj?
The Burj, it is rumoured, has a significant vacancy. This isn't unique to the Burj, other buildings in the vicinity have similar issues...
All the Burj did was perhaps to satisfy human ego of bigger and taller...
Besides the glitter that you can see on the buildings, Business Bay looks like a ghost town...
And while the jury is still debating the correlation between construction of skyscrapers and economic cycles, it is an undeniable fact that the unprecedented boom that Dubai had seen before the construction of the tower, is now over...
But all said and done, the Burj is indeed an engineering marvel...
