A Symphony Of Lights...

After five years, I am happy to be back in Hong Kong. The city has a certain vibe, a certain pulse that is indeed invigorating and intoxicating.
After landing in Hong Kong this afternoon and checking in to my hotel on Des Voeux Road West, I headed to the Sun Yat Sen Memorial Park overlooking the Victoria Harbour from where I headed to the Golden Bauhinia Square and from there I took a ferry to Tsim Sha Tsui...

Boarded the ferry to Tsim Sha Tsui in Kowloon...

Reflections...

The waters were a bit choppy...

Approaching Tsim Sha Tsui...

The Tsim Sha Tsui Clock Tower - it is the only remnant of the former Kowloon Station on the Kowloon-Canton Railway, which was constructed in 1915...

The Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre and the Golden Bauhinia Square from the Avenue of Stars in Tsim Sha Tsui...

The Bank of China Building all lit up...
Waiting for the Symphony of Lights show to begin, as people take their seats on the Avenue of Stars...

Here begins the show...
The Symphony of Lights is a daily multimedia show that happens at 8PM and involves more than 40 buildings on both sides of Victoria Harbour. The show has been named the 'World's Largest Permanent Light and Sound Show' by the Guinness Book of World Records...
The show involves coloured lights, laser beams and searchlights synchronised with music and narration. It celebrates the energy, spirit and diversity of Hong Kong around five main themes: Awakening, Energy, Heritage, Partnership and Celebration...

This is an unforgettable sight...

Neeti and I had visited this place in 2010 and we were mesmerised...

And today, I was alone here, and was missing her....
She's miles away in Mumbai...

The very fascinating Bank of China Building...

The International Finance Centre on Hong Kong Island...

A cruise liner crossing the harbour...

A traditional Chinese junk...

A panda on the International Commerce Centre...

Animations continue on the skyscraper...

And here comes the finale to this wonderful evening...
