Goodbye, Asia's World City...

And after a great evening in Hong Kong - walking down the Sun Yat Sen Memorial Park and seeing Hong Kong all lit up from Tsim Sha Tsui, the time has come to say goodbye to Asia's World City!

After this morning's commute through the Central District, I landed up at Hong Kong Station. Here, a passenger can check-in for his flight, obtain boarding passes and check-in bags and then be free to roam around light and be at the airport just in time for the flight. Very few cities offer this convenience, not even Singapore...

After checking in, I stopped by at the Cafe de Coral outlet at the station and was feeling quite famished,..

After excesses of the last few days, I preferred to go vegetarian and opted for a Creole black bean curry with vegetables, which wasn't really too appetizing...

After my my meal, I headed to the Starbucks at the Exchange Square, next door, to meet an old friend. I was meeting him after 10 years or so!

In about two hours, I set out for the airport from the Hong Kong Station...

Waiting for the Airport Express...

Finally at the airport and looking forward to some exciting Plane Spotting...

If pigs could fly, or they probably do in Hong Kong!
