The Grand Old Lady Of Flinders Street...

After a good walk around Queen Victoria Gardens, I headed back on St. Kilda Road to Federation Square and onwards to Swanston Street...

Passing by the iconic Flinders Street Station...
The station and the street here is named after the British cartographer, sailor and explorer - Captain Matthew Flinders who was the first whiteman to circumnavigate Australia and identify it as a continent...

A buggy again...

Dark clouds floating over the city...

The Commonwealth Blue Ensign, the national flag of Australia, flies high over Federation Square...

Federation Square, at the intersection of Flinders Street and Swanston Street/St. Kilda Road...

St. Paul's Cathedral...

The Grand Old Lady of Flinders Street...
I just can't take my eyes off this iconic building and in a lot of ways, this building reminds of home -Mumbai's enduring symbol - the VT...
It's at railway stations like these where the train journeys end but the journeys of life begins for many!
