¡Aquí Voy, Mexico!

And I am back on the road again, heading to Oaxaca in Mexico.
This trip came pretty suddenly - I have to attend a few urgent meetings in Oaxaca, and there was a mad scramble for tickets in the last few days.
My itinerary will take me to Los Angeles, onward to Mexico City and then to Oaxaca. Luckily for me, it all became possible simply because I got my visa to the United States well in time, thanks to their efficient processing in Seoul!
Today I would be flying onboard Korean Air KE17, which happens to be an Airbus A380 - this would be my fourth flight on the superjumbo - the first 3 were on Singapore Airlines on the Mumbai - Singapore - Mumbai sectors.

Catching up on some Plane Spotting before boarding...
Wow - I spotted an absolute beauty - a Korean Air Boeing 747-8i...

A busy after afternoon at Incheon...

The massive A380 wing...

Pushing back...

And two beauties at the gate - Boeing 747-400s from United and KLM...

We taxi towards the runway...

And there they are - the queens of the sky from Netherlands and the United States...

This will be a journey of firsts - This is my first trans-Pacific flight, the first to cross the International Date Line (yes, I will be going back in time!), my first journey to the Western Hemisphere and my first trip to Mexico! Here I come Mexico! ¡Aquí Voy, Mexico!
