An Evening Walk In DC...



With my 4-hour long meeting in Arlington done, I headed back across the Potomac to the District. And as Joe, my Uber driver from the drive around DC, had suggested, I booked a night-time illumination tour around the city. The tour was to begin at 1900 from the National Archives. I had 90 minutes to roam around and for a much need cup of tea...

The Willard does indeed look quite impressive...



USD 3.88 billion as taxes paid, not bad...



A Masonic temple - there is quite a lot of speculation on the role of the Freemasons and the Illuminati and how they influenced the design of this city - people claim that Washington DC is full of Masonic symbolism...


I remember Pret A Manger from Gare de Lyon, in Paris!


The Trump International Hotel - I wonder who would run it if Mr. Trump becomes the president...
