Plane Spotting At DFW

And it's Plane Spotting time at Dallas!

An exotic find - Qantas' Airbus A380, as we taxi towards our gate!

They fly the Airbus A380 across the Pacific, between Sydney and DFW in one of the longest flights in the world!

Lufthansa's Airbus A340 in the distance!

American Airlines' Boeing 777 in the Oneworld livery!

Taxiing towards our gate in Terminal D...

The silverbullet livery of American looks stunning!

I was looking forward to Plane Spotting here. DFW has five terminals - A to E, all linked on the secured airside by an autmated bi-directional train, called the Skylink. And a ride on the Skylink gives awesome views of the airside...

A view from the Skylink - TACA's Embraer E190 pushes back...

A clearer view of TACA's Embraer E190...

The ultra-low cost carrier Spirit Airlines' Airbus A320s...
Spirit has been consistently rated as one of America's worst carriers...

An exotic find - American's McDonnell Douglas MD80 in the retro livery...

Another American MD80...

An American Airbus A320...

And an American Boeing 737...

American Eagle Bombardier CRJ-700...

US Airways Bombardier CRJ-700 which is now operated by American Eagle...

Spirit again!

United Boeing 737s in background...

That's a particularly nice livery of Spirit...

And waiting to board... oops, I won't be flying the American MD80, but an Airbus A321 tonight!
