All Good Things Khmer...

With our trip around the incredible trip around the heritage sites of Angkor Wat, Bayon, Angkor Thom and Ta Prohm done, it was time to chill and enjoy all good things Khmer...

Dining on a cool, fresh Khmer salad with raw papaya and grilled chicken...

Followed by a warm refreshing soup...

Time to catch the bright Khmer sun...

By the poolside...

Chilling off with some incredible cocktails...

As evening set in, we took a tuk tuk to head to the Smile of Angkor Grand Theatre for a dose of Khmer song and dance...

Navigating our way through to the Smile of Angkor...

Tuk tuks everywhere...

A glimpse of the Grand Hotel...

Angkor National Museum...

The Cambodian national flag features the Angkor Wat...

Approaching the Smile of Angkor...

In foyer of the theatre...

A face from Bayon - the Bayon faces looks uncannily similar to those from Ajanta Caves in India...

Posing for photos - the crowd here was predominantly Korean and Chinese...

Lord Ganesha - Indo-China is quite similar culturally to India...

In the theatre...

And the show begins...

There's the Indian flag...

After two hours of the show of Angkorian culture, we headed back to our hotel, amazed by the richness of their culture...

A culture that not only survived but thrived despite years of strife. Hats off to the spirit of the Cambodians...
