The Beauty Of Tam Coc... Part II

The boat ride on Tam Coc continues, and as we proceed further, the vistas become even more incredible and prettier...

The limestone cliffs are mighty and steep...

But the Tam Coc flows placidly between the cliffs...

Approaching the grottoes...

The interiors are incredible...

And there is the proverbial light at the end of the tunnel...

The ceiling of some of these grottoes is amazingly low...

And despite so many boats around here, it is so quiet and peaceful. The only sound I hear is that of the oar hitting the gently flowing river...

Another cave...

Afternoon traffic...

The sheer cliff rises up impressively from the river...

We approach another cave...

Selling stuff from the boat - what do want? Flowers, bananas?

Rush hour!!!

I wonder how the goat found its way up there!

Another cave...

And some egrets...

A dragon carved on top of a karst...

With the sun out, the colours are incredibly vivid!

On the way back, passing by the cemetery...

The underwater vegetation is quite thick!

Click, click, click...

And we are almost back!
