An Evening In Paris...

As our Paris trip is drawing to a close, I had to give Neeti a nice treat. And that date had to be a supper cruise on the River Seine.
We rushed from the Musée Du Louvre to Port de la Bourdonnais, right next to the Eiffel Tower from where our boat ride would start. And by the time we reached the quayside, the skies started clearing up, which was a big plus, and the huge respite.

Who won't fall in love with the Eiffel?

The quayside...

Boarding the boat for the cruise...

A lovely evening and the deck was bright and cosy...

Chilled white wine...

Salad with anchovies...

Ricotta cheese salad with escargot...

Passing under a bridge over the Seine...

Braised veal with carrots and potatoes...

Fillet of saumon for Neeti...

Candied fruit with a cube of white mousse...

Red velvet cake...

This was followed by a double espresso for me and a green tea for Neeti...
This was real French cuisine, an ideal date, an ideal Evening in Paris...

Back at the quayside...

And the Eiffel looks much better against the blue backdrop of the Parisian sky...

She is beautiful...

We'll be back here tonight...
